The first session was on Cloud Computing for Good:

The panel presented their various areas of expertise (World Relief, Ocean Research, and Mobile Tech Solutions). One panelist is building a massive network of marine sensors that post their data to the internet (“the cloud”) in real time to study in order to perform various analysis on climate and marine issues. One is working to utilize cloud technology to provide mobile services to individuals who can’t afford cell phones.
