Chris will be in charge of expanding Movirtu's existing solution set which offers millions of customers mobile identity management in both developed and developing markets. Movirtu prides itself on developing products that address genuine user needs, and Chris will be instrumental in ensuring the company's intellectual property and vision continue to match that commitment.
Prior to Movirtu, Chris held senior positions at Ericsson, Mobeon, Comverse and Sema Group. At Ericsson, Chris brought to market a groundbreaking convergent messaging solution and in 1992 he worked in the original team that delivered the world's first SMS message.
Movirtu's patented technology is redefining the mobile landscape by using cloud infrastructure to tie a mobile identity to a user rather than a device. Chris's appointment will support the company's United Nations commitment to help more than three million people in developing countries gain access to mobile services, while expanding the platform to deliver innovative mobile services to multi-device users in developed markets.
