Movirtu partners with leading operators to construct a top-down business model for market opportunity which looks at the market dynamics, under-served mobile users within the reach of a mobile network, sharing, and additional applications. We then validate this business case once we are engaged in a pilot or roll-out through our proprietary method of bottom-up market requirements analysis. We conduct benchmark investigations of current base of the pyramid mobile use, estimating current revenue and latent opportunity, evaluate the appeal of our Cloud Phone concept, and then help operators build a business case for an eventual roll-out.
Our business model is based primarily on ongoing revenue share with operators, which ensures that we stay closely connected to the success of the service. We provide significant launch support for sales and marketing, including best practice from several years of research and trials prior to commercial launch in late 2010.
